Mission
Need Therapy LLC is a supportive service agency that exists to bridge the gap between clients and mental/behavioral health services. By collaborating with trusted local mental health agencies, Need Therapy LLC connects adult clients to therapeutic, psychiatric rehabilitation programs (PRP), substance abuse, case management and medication management services.
Vision

OUR STORY
Need Therapy LLC was created by Lakesha Wills, a graduate of Coppin State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Born and raised in Baltimore City, Lakesha has a passion for healing our community. Lakesha has 16 years of
mental health experience, including but not limited to, providing trauma informed care, PRP services, case management services, etc.
Need Therapy LLC, was created because I GET IT! As an individual who has been personally affected by loved ones who suffer from addiction as well as being diagnosed with a mental health condition myself, I understand that mental and behavioral health concerns can be debilitating!
After being hospitalized and subsequently diagnosed as Bi-Polar Manic there were constant struggles with understanding and coping with the diagnosis. Feelings of shame, embarrassment, and humiliation led to self sabotaging behaviors. Life began to change for the better with consistent therapy and taking medication as prescribed.
Stigma, accessibility, institutional mistrust and cost can impact one’s ability or desire to seek support. That needs to be changed! Everyone should have access to the supports and services needed to assist them in being the best version of themselves.
